I absolutely cannot say something like “let’s get down to business” without hearing “and defeat…the HUNS” in my head. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed I was in the Chicago the last few days — my brother is going to school out there, so the rest of us went to hang out and absolutely stuff ourselves silly. Luckily we flew in Thursday (so no issues with the airport shutdown on Friday) and although our flight home was cancelled last night, we quite easily managed to get switched to an earlier flight. Recap + pictures later this week! For now, though…

01 | general catch-up
Somewhat, yeah. And I’ll keep working on this — I’ve got some more ideas to put into practice that should help me stay organized and on top of stuff.
02 | start building a home yoga practice
Eh, not really…I do blame not doing too hot at this on traveling.
03 | start taking some of my own “stock photos”
Yes! Took a ton in Chicago, need to review and see what’s work saving for the future.
This Week’s Wishes
01 | get my new site up and running
Like, all the way, done and active and promoting and (hopefully) working to bring in client.
02 | lose the 5 pounds I probably gained in Chi-town
All the food I ate was soooo worth it, but now, I’m definitely feeling the need to dial down the alcoholic beverages (though I literally just discovered Coronado Brewing has an Imperial Pumpkin Ale out that I MUST DRINK NOW) and super indulgent stuff for simpler salads and veggies and healthy crap. For a little while, at least.
03 | decide if I should try blogtober14 and if so, start planning post
Anyone else giving it a shot? When I first started blogging (all the way back in June) I wanted to post everyday but quickly realized that wasn’t really feasible. But you know me, I love a challenge, and a chance to discover new blogs/get The Ponytail Diaries out there would be nice…so…I have 2 days to decide and get going on that.
